I really do NOT like spiders - I was glad this was in its web!!!

I was quite worried about where the rest of this spider's family might be!

I guess this spider had a kind of beauty - as long as it remained where it was. It's amazing to be they don't get tangled in their own webs.

    Trotter -
The only Celebrity ship I ever sailed was a short cruised, Pacific Northwest, on the Mercury. It was somewhat disappointing though my Royal Caribbean status went with me...how nice that Trotter Two is enjoying Grasse and that lovely part of France. I've enjoyed that area several times myself but, probably, not in the luxury he is experiencing.

I, desperately, try to avoid spiders. I have had two terrible bouts of cellulitis - both legs, with long courses of antibiotics and permanent discoloration, from spider bites...and they weren't even poisonous ones, we don't think!

    Indrani -
As long as it wasn't having a bite of me, I wasn't too concerned about its breakfast!

    Joanna Jenkins -
The Caribbean definitely has different spiders from ours! I'm glad I only met it in its web!

    Muza-chan,
I only like spiders from a photographic view point. I've been bitten twice by them, on each leg, and suffered a terrible cellulitis each time...and almost a month of antibiotics with each. I guess it has to do with aging and decreased circulation. It's no fun getting old!

Normally, I avoid spiders, at all costs!

You cannot know how terrified I am of spiders. If we ever meet ( and I hope we do ), I'll show you the results of the cellulitis on both lower legs, thanks to spider bites. I took a month of antibiotics both times.

I think that spider looks so evil. I don't think I would have gone swimming underneath its web!
